Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. They provide immediate medical aid to those in great need. The second interest rate decision of the year is due today.

Classroom 2, Ground Floor, UNITE Building, Jack Jones House, Islington, Liverpool L3 8EF. All Merseyside ARMs members are entitled to attend in person or via Zoom.

Together Alliance demo
Londion. Transport from Merseyside is available with Merseyside Stand Up To Racism. Click here to book a coach seat.
PCS will also cover the cost of train ravel to the demo. To apply click here to download the booking form and ensure that you copy in the PCS Regional Secretary (marydo@pcs.org.uk) when you send the booking form for authorisation.

TV Licence
The annual cost of a TV licence (linked to the September 2025 CPI inflation rate of 3.8%) will increase to just over £181 for a colour TV.
5 April
Justice For Palestine Liverpool demo

Pensions
Civil Service pensions are due to increase today by 3.8% in line with the September 2025 CPI inflation rate and a full state pension will go up to £241.30 a week.
16 April
Cuba Medical Aid Appeal

Who We Are
This is the website for PCS Merseyside Associate & Retired Members (ARMs).
The Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) is organised throughout the civil service and government agencies, making it the UK’s biggest and most influential civil service trade union. PCS also organises widely in the private sector, usually in companies that hold government contracts.
PCS are a democratic organisation, run by our members, for our members. We campaign for fair pay and conditions, decent pensions for all and equality in the workplace and beyond.
PCS Associate & Retired members (ARMs) section has over 12,000 members. Merseyside ARMs is a sub group of PCS North West ARMs with hundreds of members across Merseyside.
