Schedule 2026

The 2026 Peace Country Regional Science Fair is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 in Peace River, AB. PCRSF 2026 will take place at the Catholic Conference Centre in Peace River, AB. Lunch will be provided for the students. An awards banquet with a buffet dinner will cap off the day for the students, their teachers, and the judges.

9 am - 10 am: Registration and set up.

9 am - 10:30 am: Public viewing.

10 am - 1 pm: Project Judging. Students will be judged by the local experts that have volunteered their time to make this event a success. From 10:30 on the public is not permitted in the event space.

1:00 pm - 1:45 pm: Lunch. Lunch will be provided to the students, judges, and teacher chaperones.

2:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Afternoon activity. Movie at River City Cinemas. Admission for the movie is covered by the fair. Theatre snacks or treats, however, are not - bring some spending money if you'd like popcorn or pop.

5:00 pm - 6:30 pm: Awards banquet. 

5:00 pm - 5:45 pm: Banquet for students and teacher chaperones.

5:45 pm - 6:30 pm: Awards Ceremony. Open to family members. Celebrate the work of our finalists! Top projects will be announced, as will the representatives of the Peace Country to this year's Canada Wide Science Fair in Edmonton, Alberta the week of May 23.

NOTE: parents, supporters, and other members of the public are welcome during the public viewing in the morning (9:00 am - 10:30 am) and at the Awards Ceremony in the evening (5:45 pm - 6:30 pm). For the remainder of the day the event space is restricted to student participants, judges, and teacher chaperones.
