Our question is, does a battery last different amounts of time if the temperature is altered. We used a floating puck with 4 batteries in it. We did 2 trials each with a hot, room temperature and a cold test. We measured how long the batteries lasted. Our first trial was usual the cold lasted the shortest amount of time, the room temperature lasted an average amount of time and the hot temperature lasted the longest. The second trial was unusual. The Cold temperature still lasted the shortest amount of time but the room temperature lasted the longest amount of time and the hot temperature lasted the second longest.

Is the multi-billion dollar crystal industry a huge scam? The crystal industry has grown immensely since the pandemic, so Jasmine and I decided to test how legitimate this industries claims really are. Do crystals really have this unique ability or is this an example of the placebo effect? Do crystals have a healing energy that can affect a persons mental or spiritual being or is it simply that if you believe that crystal energy is real, it will have an effect on you. Science has yet to find any real evidence of a crystals abilities to heal. However, the placebo effect has been verified through many scientific studies. Believing something to be true, can and will affect a person's perceptions.

I made this project as a way to explore a method of lessening the amount of environmentally harmful plastic and chemicals we use and explore the different colors of light.

Focal dystonia is an incurable neurological movement disorder that causes involuntary muscle contractions and spasms. I wanted to test the difficulty for someone experiencing symptoms to perform simple daily functions. Using a TENS machine attached to a subject’s hand and forearm, I measured the duration, difficulty and pain experienced performing 5 simple daily tasks. Comparing the data for this completed normally and with the TENS turned on. I performed two rounds of testing. Each resulting in data showing greater difficulty, pain and duration when experiencing spasms. This proved my hypothesis correct: Performing simple daily tasks are more difficult with focal dystonia spasms. This experiment is important in society to showcase the difficulty experienced by people with these symptoms when perform daily functions and tasks in life. Raising awareness and understanding of this we can change our expectations, create accommodations and designs that suits their abilities, needs, and comfort levels.

The main idea of this project was to investigate if a person's eyesight affects the way that the nose reacts and responds to different scents. And by doing this concluded that more people can identify a real smell better than an artificial one.

My purpose of this experiment was to test if the environment of a cat affected the cleanliness of their mouths. For my project, I decided that I wanted to test two cats in different environments to see who was dirtier. I took a cat who is strictly an indoor cat, who lives in a clean, and warm environment, and I took a cat who lives in a garage, but mostly lives outside on an open farm, I took them both and swabbed the inside of their mouths to see who is dirtier. I wanted to see the overall effect of how different environments affect the cleanliness of the animal.

Quel est l'impact des boissons sur nos dents?

J'ai choisi le theme des dents a cause que nous mangeons beaucoup de nourriture. Nos dents sont surtout suseptibles a tous le sucre qu'on consomme. On boit souvent des boissons sucrées, donc je me suis posé, quel est l'impact des boissons sur nos dents?

J'ai mis 7 oeufs dans 7 boissons differants, et a chaque 12 heares je les a retiré pour les prendre en photo. A 72h, je l'ai fait pour la derniere fois.

Chaque oeuf a eu un résultat différent. mais ils ont tous érodé la coquille. 

Ceci pourrait aider aux recherches futures, ou amener a d'autres questions.

C'est quoi la différence entre la fusion et fission?

J'ai décidé de répondre à ces questions avec mon expo science parce que le sujet m'interessait.

La fusion est quand qu'ont force deux atomes ensemble. La fission est quand qu'ont coupe un atome.

Je pense que pense que savoir la différence entre les deux concepts est important parce que ils sont tous les deux uniques et interessants.
