Linux OS

INSTALL A LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM TO BOOST PERFORMANCE.

A Linux operating system may be the answer if you have an old laptop or desktop PC that is slow when running Windows 7 or 10.  Linux is similar to Windows and it can run from a regular hard drive or a USB flash drive. It is less resource intensive than Windows and comes pre-installed with software for office, web browsing, email, videos, music, photos, video calls etc. The office software is fully compatible with Microsoft Office. A fresh install will take up around 5 GB of space versus 15-20 GB for Windows. It is perfect for boosting performance on older PCs that you don't want to spend too much money on. If you use the USB version it will run on multiple PCs at no extra cost. There is a large pool of software available that is FREE to install and use.

I can install it directly on your PC either along side your existing Windows operating system or instead of Windows.

If you use the USB version then you can leave Windows installed on your hard drive and run Linux from the USB flash drive. I can post the USB version out to you - there is no need to bring your PC to me.

Full instructions on how to run Linux will be included - it's very easy. Get in touch if you have any questions.

USE A LINUX 'LIVE' OPERATING SYSTEM FOR ADDED SECURITY.

A Linux 'live' USB drive runs a fresh copy of Linux every time you start your PC. If you are nervous about online banking, malware, tracking, privacy etc. then this is a great solution. Linux 'live' runs from a USB flash drive so you can use it in addition to Windows on your PC. I use this for online banking as I can be 100% sure there is no Malware or tracking software installed when I use it. Any information you input is wiped clean when you shutdown your PC.
