Every ship has their own Outbreak Management Prevention Plan. We have found that successful management of outbreaks consists of good PR and an effective management plan. Our short course on Norovirus awareness for all of the front of house staff who have high levels of guest interaction covers the PR side of the outbreak. It gives the crew the confidence to deal with difficult questions from the guest. To give honest answers and help the guest understand what is being done to protect them and the crew.
