The program will culminate with a written exam and live fire test where students must demonstrate their safe and responsible firearm handling skills—parents are encouraged to attend the final day of class.
When: This special program for schools runs twice a year – once in the Fall and then in the Spring – as an afterschool program. Two weeks, Monday through Thursday, 4:00-5:30 PM
Where:
Week 1 – Patrick Henry
Week 2 – Izaac Walton League at 5000 N Oakview Pl, Sioux Falls, SD 57110
Our partners at YMCA take care of bussing the students back and forth from our off-site location, so parents will only need to pick-up the students up from PHMS during week two.
