Rules

Paragon relies on a set of in-game rules to ensure players have a safe and fun experience whilst in-game. These rules are upheld by the Community Moderation Team and other personnel and everybody is expected to follow them.

Exploiting is defined by using third party software to manipulate your character or the game in general that is not intended, usually to give yourself a higher advantage over others. This is a zero-tolerance rule.

  • Flying

  • Speed hacks

• First Offence: Permanent Ban

• Bug abuse/glitching is defined as: an obvious attempt or succeeding to utilize a bug in or out of the game (Paragon, Roblox, your client, etc) to gain an advantage over others.

• Examples

  • Misusing features to clip through objects

  • Dealing damage through objects, Not incl. shooting limbs which are clipping through objects

  • Escaping, rioting or breaching an SCP with a bugged avatar

• First Offence: 2 day ban

• Second Offence: 5 day ban

• Third Offence: Case by case

Leaving the game while you are DFSC or leaving during a solitary sentence and rejoining before your 10 minutes is up.

• Examples

  • Leaving when a combative is reviving you to detain you and rejoining before the 10 minute timer is up

  • Leaving whilst in solitary and rejoining before the 10 minute timer is up

  • Jumping into acid water 2 or more times

• First Offence: 1 day ban

• Second Offence: 3 day ban

• Third Offence: x2 Previous Ban

Inappropriate clothing and/or hats, along with anything that is oversized and blocks vision, nametags, or other in-game features in not allowed.

• Examples

  • Large hats covering names. Shirts that are against Roblox ToS.

• First Offence: Kick

• Second Offence: 8 Hour Ban

• Third Offence: 24 Hour Ban

Harassment/Toxicity is ToS violation, and can be moderated on a case by case basis. 

• First Offence: 3 day ban

• Second Offence: 7 day ban

• Third Offence: Discretion of Senior Mod+ (case-by-case basis). 

Spawn camping is defined by entering a spawn point or waiting outside of a spawn point in order to kill, infect or otherwise harm other players.

• Examples

  • Entering SD spawn whilst infected to infect SD

  • Sitting in CD cells whilst infected and infecting those who spawn

• First Offence: 8 hour ban

• Second Offence: 3 day ban

• Third Offence: x2 Previous Ban
