Exodus-class frigate Pan’s Flight left Station J-22 orbiting Pluto 180 standard days ago. For full details of our cargo, please refer to the manifest. In brief, we are ferrying 300 colonists and their materiel to garden world designation N3-VR.
We are currently approaching the final extrasolar waypoint before all souls on board are expected to enter cryosleep to ensure that we can survive the journey across the void. In our absence, the Pan’s Flight will be tended to by the on-board AI and its robotic crew.
All systems are green. In a few moments, I will send the order to direct all the colonists and my own crew to the cryopods. When we wake up, we will be in a brand new world.

Working-title “Duality” is a first-person puzzle game. The protagonist is a nameless robot whose task is to repair a seemingly derelict frigate called Pan’s Flight to ensure that it can reach its final destination. The protagonist must go through each of the critical units of the frigate and repair them by completing a series of puzzles that will see it move between the Realspace and the Cyberspace.
Each critical unit, such as Life Support, Engines, Power Core, has been rendered inoperable in different ways by the frigate’s on-board AI, WENDEE. As part of WENDEE’s robotic crew, the protagonist is perfectly suited to undo the damage that WENDEE has done. In the Realspace, the protagonist is able to walk, run, jump, and move objects around. However, these abilities alone are not enough to move through the frigate and fix it.
By going into the Cyberspace, the protagonist is able to interface with WENDEE’s terminals and change the rules of physics within each unit. For example, the protagonist can change the level of gravity and friction in a room to be able to move objects that are normally too heavy.
