Advancing Indian Languages through Assessment, Education, Policy and Technology

I am a linguist, researcher and public-sector professional working at the intersection of language assessment, multilingual education, language policy and educational technology.

My work focuses on developing scientifically grounded and technology-enabled systems for teaching, learning and assessing Indian languages. I have contributed to multilingual language-proficiency testing, large-scale item-bank development, examination and recruitment assessment, teacher training, digital learning resources and language-policy implementation.

A major area of my professional engagement is the development of reliable and scalable assessment systems for Indian languages. This work combines established principles of language testing with digital technologies and internationally recognised proficiency frameworks, while remaining responsive to India’s multilingual and multicultural context.

I have worked with educational institutions, government organisations, public-sector undertakings, banks and recruitment bodies in areas such as language-proficiency testing, question-paper development, evaluation, specialised training and institutional capacity building.

My broader objective is to strengthen the use of Indian languages in education, governance, assessment and digital environments through research, collaboration and responsible technological innovation.
