COUNSELORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO EMAIL TRANSCRIPTS.
For the CCP/Dual Enrollment Program, students will send their transcript via CFNC.org.
For colleges in North Carolina, students will send their transcript via CFNC.org (Application Hub) OR add their counselor to send it via Common App.
For colleges outside of North Carolina, students can request their official transcript via https://guilfordnc.scriborder.com/ or add their counselor to send it via Common App.
Select the dropdowns below for detailed instructions.
Create or log in to your account at CFNC.org.
Click "Apply to College" and then "Application Hub"
Select the college(s) you wish to receive your transcript and send!
The information for your transcript request must match your name and information in PowerSchool EXACTLY.
CFNC is the fastest way for in-state schools to receive your transcript as it sends as soon as it is requested and processed.
Your mid-year and final transcripts will then send automatically, as CFNC is linked with your PowerSchool account.
Create or log in to your account at CommonApp.org.
Add the college(s) you wish to apply to to your list.
Under "Recommenders and FERPA" complete the release authorizations and add your counselor's email. Double check that it's entered correctly. Submit and continue working on your application.
Your counselor will immediately receive an email notification asking them to upload your transcript and School Report. They will also receive a request for a Counselor Letter of Recommendation, if required by the college.
You only have to enter your counselor's email once and it will be associated with each application you're completing via Common App. You must add teacher recommenders separately to each application.
