Pacman is dedicated to creating a sustainable future for all Atlanteans, especially the next generation of children who will inherit the state that we get to help shape now. Pacman wants to continue the work of Governor Fire while pushing that much harder to move our state to a greener and more sustainable future. It's not just about climate change, we are on an unsustainable path with or without it, and Pacman recognizes that it is imperative that we make harder decisions today so our children can have an easier future.
As Governor, Pacman will work to make sure that climate measures are not punitive. Punishing our job creators and revenue creators won't get us anywhere and will only cause our state to lose business, workers, and the very soul of our state. We were founded by lovers of freedom and liberty, not coercive punishers. That's why Pacman will work to incentivize businesses that reduce their carbon emissions. That way businesses can continue to operate as we all work together for a more sustainable future, instead of pushing businesses out of the Atlantic and into other states where they won't feel any reason to reduce their emissions.
Governor Fire has done a wonderful job of promoting nuclear energy, it is after all the best source of green energy available to us. As governor, Pacman will work to continue Governor Fire's mission to promote nuclear energy in our state, and make the Atlantic Commonwealth a leader and an example for other states to follow. We will also be reducing our emissions by doing so, and setting up the Atlantic Commonwealth for a safe, reliable, and independent future of energy production. That is, after all, the end goal, to ensure that Atlantic is not beholden to the petroleum producing nations in the Middle East or some other state in the Union. Pacman wants to make our state the leader of our nation in not just energy but everything else as well.
Besides nuclear energy, Pacman believes that the Atlantic Commonwealth can utilize our vast coastline to produce clean wind energy as well. As governor, Pacman will work to invest in offshore wind energy projects to ensure we have a diversity of energy production for our state. This will continue to make the Atlantic a leader on the national stage for energy production and innovation. Pacman will also push to encourage further research and development of wind, solar, and hydroelectric energy so that we can find more efficient ways to produce clean, renewable energy.
Pacman is dedicated to making the Atlantic Commonwealth the national leader for a sustainable future.
