Pacman is dedicated to defending the rights and freedoms of every Atlantean. Democrats have constantly been going after the Second Amendment and Pacman will ensure that your right to defend yourself is protected. Democrats have been supporting a disastrous Supreme Court decision that has allowed millions of abortions to take place. Worse, some want to take drastic steps to federalize our elections or remove certain important restrictions such as being a citizen of our country.
The Constitution of the United States guarantees that "the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" and for too long, the Democratic party has gone after that right. Instead of introducing a constitutional amendment - that they know good and well would fail - they use thinly veiled legislation to attack our rights. As Governor, Pacman will continue the efforts of Governor Fire to protect our citizen's rights. The best defense against an armed perpetrator will always be a gun, and we can ensure that we are getting arms to the people who need them while making sure that criminals can't get ahold of them. Pacman will work hard to ensure that every citizen has a right to defend themselves and even harder to keep guns out of the hands of criminals.
One of our nation's most basic principles is a right to life, and with the advent of modern medicine we have found that the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision is based in nothing but fiction. Unborn children can feel pain, they have a heartbeat, they are viable much earlier than they were before. The left's desire seems to be unfettered access to abortion so that our citizens can live a life free of any consequence, but unfortunately for them that is not how life works. Children are children whether inside or outside the womb. We know this, scientists know this, doctors know this, but for some reason about half of us seem to wish it weren't so. Instead of protecting, we seem resigned to allow death and murder to take place unpunished in our society. As Governor, Pacman will support a pain threshold restriction on abortion in the Atlantic Commonwealth, and he will fight to return the question of abortion back to the states.
States have always controlled the method of elections in their respective states. For some reason, some Democrats have now decided that we should allow the federal government to take control of elections. An unprecedented action which would no doubt mark the destruction of our federalist system of government. We are a union of states, not a unitary republic under a single national government. No, we are a collection of individual governments which have given limited powers to a national government to govern our interstate affairs and foreign affairs. As Governor, Pacman will be a fierce advocate for the Atlantic's right to govern itself and secure free and fair elections for our state.
