The Cub Scout Motto "Do Your Best!" applies to every scout, no matter their age. In the Scout Oath we say that we will do our best… we even give our honor that we will give nothing but our best. “On my honor, I will do my best…”
In our daily lives there are multiple tasks and challenges that put us to the test. Sometimes this involves having to work on items that we have no knowledge of and feel inadequate to complete. When these situations arise, there is really only one thing we can do… You can "Do Your Best!" In reality, that’s all we can expect from ourselves.
Sometimes the hardest thing can be admitting you’ve made a mistake. It requires you to go against your own ego, which can be our worst enemy. However, failure is the mother of success.
So, when the task at hand seems like it is impossible, simply "Do Your Best". Even if that means that you might fail. Get up after you fail, and "Do Your Best" again and again. Not one of us is perfect, and some things come easier to others. And that is ok! Just remember three little words that when placed together have an extremely large influence.
DO YOUR BEST!
