On you phone go to your app store and download the free Trails End app.
Or, text APP to 62771.
You can still do the sale. It would need to be entered as an online direct sale, or as a take order.
As a reminder:
Online direct - ships directly to the consumer. Minimum amount required for free shipping.
Take order - they place the order through you, and when it arrives in December you would need to deliver the product to them.
Why are rewards listed as points and not a dollar amount?
Trails End uses a points system for rewards, and how points are awarded varies depending on whether or not the sale was credit/debit card, online direct, or cash.
1.25 points for every dollar when using credit or debit cards
1 point for every dollar when doing online direct or cash sales.
For example, to get 500 points you would need to sell $500 worth in cash or online direct sales or $400 in credit or debit sales. (or some combination in between :-) )
Confused!? Don't worry, no need to keep track, the app does that for you! When you log onto the app, the points for the scout are listed on their dashboard.
We understand that things happen and you may accidentally sign up for a shift your scout can no longer do. Please make every effort to only sign up for the sifts you can do. But, if for some reason you sign up for one you can no longer do, you can withdraw from a shift.
Locate your shift on your dashboard and click withdraw.
If it is less than 24 hours before your assigned shift you must reach out to Eileen to see if you can remove the shift.
At a show and sell (storefront) sales are distributed evenly among all scouts signed up for shifts for the day.
A wagon sale could be set up to be shared evenly amongst siblings or scouts but would need to be arranged with popcorn royalty before the sale to get it set up.
Or sales can be split based on the scout that the sale is listed under. So, if for a sibling group toggle between children and enter the information. If it is scouts from different families each scout would enter the information for their sale under their individual dashboard.
Take sales would not be split and would be entered under the scout placing the order.
Decide on the day of the show and sell who will be entering information in the app. It can be one parent or it can be both. Regardless of who it is entered under during the show and sell the points will be split between all scouts across the day evenly.
We would recommend that all responsible adults be ready to accept payments to prevent a wait when selling popcorn.
No, whether or not you choose to offer to deliver a product at a later date is up to you.
