Kabushiki Kaisha Daisen ("we," "our," or "us") built the QR Master app as a Free app supported by advertising. This SERVICE is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
QR Master does not require user registration or login. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
However, the app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
- Google AdMob (Advertising)
- On Android: collects the Advertising ID (AAID) to serve personalized ads.
- On iOS: may access the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) if the user grants App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. Users may decline this at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Users can opt out of personalized advertising on Android via device settings, and on iOS via the ATT permission prompt.
- Google User Messaging Platform (Consent Management)
- Used to gather user consent for personalized advertising in regions where consent is legally required (e.g., GDPR in the EU).
- Google Play Services (Android only)
- Used for core app functionality and ad delivery.
- Apple StoreKit & App Store (iOS only)
- Used for in-app purchases and subscription verification.

DEVICE PERMISSIONS
The app may request the following permissions:
- Camera: Required for scanning QR codes.
- Photo Library (iOS) / Storage (Android): Used to save generated QR code images to your device, and to read images from the library for QR code recognition.
- Internet access: Required for displaying advertisements and in-app purchases.
- App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14+): Optional. Requested solely to serve more relevant advertisements. You may decline this request with no impact on app functionality.
DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do not collect, store, or transmit the content of QR codes you scan or generate. All QR code processing happens locally on your device.
We do not collect location information.
We do not collect health, biometric, or financial data.
We do not share any user data with parties other than the services listed above.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
QR Master does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes are effective immediately upon being posted on this page.
