YOYO DocScan is a local-first document scanner and PDF utility. The app is designed to scan documents, receipts, IDs, contracts, whiteboards and notes; create PDFs; run on-device OCR; add signatures and stamps; organize files; export backups; and share files only when the user chooses to do so.
1. Information processed by the app
YOYO DocScan may process document images, imported images or files, OCR text, PDF files, signatures, stamps, file names, folders, tags and backup files inside the app. This information is stored locally on the user's device unless the user actively exports, shares, prints, backs up or sends a file to another app or service.
2. Camera, photos and files
The app requests camera access so users can scan documents. It may request photo, media or file access so users can import images or documents and save or share exported files. These permissions are used for the app's core document scanning and PDF features.
3. No document cloud upload
YOYO DocScan does not automatically upload scanned documents, images, PDFs, OCR text, signatures, stamps, file names or folder names to our servers. The app does not provide account login, cloud sync or cloud OCR in this version.
4. User-initiated sharing
When a user chooses export, share, print, email, cloud storage, chat apps or another Android share destination, the selected file is sent to the destination chosen by the user. The destination app or service is governed by its own privacy policy.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
YOYO DocScan uses Google Play Billing for subscriptions and one-time purchases. Google Play processes payment, subscription, cancellation and entitlement information. We do not receive full payment card details.
6. Advertising and consent
YOYO DocScan may show ads on non-sensitive screens for free users. Ads are provided through Google Mobile Ads / AdMob and consent may be requested through Google's User Messaging Platform where required. Document content, OCR text, signatures, stamps, file names, folders and search keywords are not sent to the ad SDK by YOYO DocScan.
7. Third-party services
The app may use Google Play Billing, Google Mobile Ads / AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform. These services may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, purchase status, diagnostics, crash information, approximate location or consent choices as described in Google's policies.
8. Data retention and deletion
Local documents and app data remain on the user's device until the user deletes them, resets app data, uninstalls the app or removes exported files from their chosen storage location. Users can delete local app data from within the app or through Android system settings.
9. Children
YOYO DocScan is not directed to children. It is intended as a general productivity, business and utility app.
10. Financial, health and government services
YOYO DocScan does not provide financial products or services, health features or government services.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, legal requirements or third-party service behavior changes. The updated date will be changed when we publish a new version.
