At OVICO, we respect your privacy and are committed to providing transparency and control over your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy outlines how you can request the deletion of your personal data collected and stored through the OVICO Driver - App for Partners ("the App").
This policy applies to all users of the OVICO Driver - App, for Partners including registered drivers who have provided personal data during account creation or App usage.
The types of personal data that may be deleted include:
Name, email address, phone number, and contact information.
Profile and account details (e.g., vehicle information, license information).
Trip history and earnings records.
Device and location data associated with App use.
Any other personal information you have shared with us through the App.
You have the right to:
Request the deletion of your personal data stored in the App.
Withdraw your consent for data processing by deleting your account.
Receive confirmation once your data has been deleted.
To request the deletion of your data, you can either use the in-app option or fill out the Data Deletion Request Form provided at the end of this policy.
4.1 Through the App
Open the OVICO Driver App.
Navigate to Settings > Privacy Settings > Delete Account.
Follow the prompts to confirm your request.
4.2 Via the Form
Alternatively, you can fill out the Data Deletion Request Form located at the end of this document.
4.3 Manual Request via Email
You may also email us directly at hello@ovicoapp.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Ensure your email includes the same details as required in the form below.
We aim to process and confirm all data deletion requests within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
We may retain certain data in the following circumstances:
Legal Obligations: To comply with tax, audit, or legal reporting requirements.
Fraud Prevention: To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the platform.
Transaction Records: For payment and financial reconciliation purposes as required by law.
In such cases, your data will be stored securely and only for the minimum time required by applicable laws.
Deleting your data will:
Permanently remove your account and all associated information.
Revoke your access to the App and its features.
Prevent you from recovering your account or trip history.
If you wish to continue using the App, you will need to create a new account after deletion.
We may update this Data Deletion Policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through the App or via email.
