NIGHTLIFE TOOLKIT

The Time2Act Nightlife Toolkit was created to help bars, clubs, music venues, festivals, and entertainment spaces prepare for overdose emergencies, protect patrons and staff, and promote safer nightlife environments.

As impurities increasingly impact the drug supply nationwide, overdose emergencies can happen anywhere. This toolkit provides practical, ready-to-use resources to help venues respond quickly and potentially save lives. Nightlife workers are often the first to respond in emergency situations involving patrons, performers, or staff.

The provided materials encourage:

Adding naloxone to first aid or emergency kits
Overdose response training for bartenders, security, and managers
Overdose response protocols in venue safety plans
Connecting with local health departments and community-based partners

SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS

To spread awareness of overdose, we encourage venues to share these graphics to social channels. There are 3 designs curated for nightlife-specific audiences and attributed captions for posting.

Find the graphic(s) you would like to share to your social account. On a computer, right click and select "Save As". On a mobile device, hold a finger down on the image until you are shown an option to "Share" or "Add to Photos". Once saved, you can upload the image to your social account with a suggested caption.

The files are labeled with the platforms they work best on. Square and horizontal graphics can be shared to social media feeds, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Vertical graphics can be posted as a reel or story to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat.
