JUSTICE SYSTEM TOOLKIT

The Time2Act Missouri Justice System Toolkit aims to help correctional systems, probation and parole agencies, drug courts, law enforcement, reentry organizations, and community supervision programs address the growing overdose crisis affecting justice-involved populations.

During incarceration, an individual’s tolerance to opioids and other substances decreases significantly. If substance use resumes after release, overdose can happen quickly and unexpectedly. Research shows overdose potential can dramatically decrease when individuals receive:

Naloxone education and access
Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD)
Reentry planning and continuity of care
Mental health support
Community treatment partnerships
Recovery support services

The toolkit includes:

SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS

Ready-to-share graphics are available to spread awareness online. Below designs can be used for posting to social media and digital channels.

Find the graphic(s) you would like to share to your social account. On a computer, right click and select "Save As". On a mobile device, hold a finger down on the image until you are shown an option to "Share" or "Add to Photos". Once saved, you can upload the image to your social account with a suggested caption.

The files are labeled with the platforms they work best on. Square and horizontal graphics can be shared to social media feeds, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X. Vertical graphics can be posted as a reel or story to platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat.
