Outventure is a hiking application that provides GPS-based summit verification missions, land navigation tools, XP and title rewards, and global/country ranking. It is designed to support hikers during their journey with essential tools and progress tracking.
Tap Start Mission on the bottom app bar.
Choose the mountain you want to climb (online required).
You will be redirected to the Summit Verification (On Mission) screen.
Yes. You must be online to:
Select a mountain
Sync your mission data
Load the navigation map (caching)
Navigation cannot display the map offline if you did not open the Navigation screen at least once while online.
Make sure to:
Select the mountain while online
Open the Navigation screen once to download the map
After that, navigation works offline during your hike.

Yes. Once the map is cached, all navigation tools work offline.
A feature that detects your position at the summit using GPS. When you reach the valid summit coordinates, the app recognizes it automatically.
When you arrive at the summit, open the Summit Verification screen.
The app will automatically check your position.
If validated, a Finish Mission button will appear.
Yes. Position detection is handled locally via GPS and works offline.
No. The Finish Mission button requires an online connection because:
XP, title, and badge must sync to the server
It prevents cheating by validating mission data
Rankings update only when online
You will earn:

A badge displayed in your profile
Your rank is based on total XP:

Ranks update automatically once you are online.

Possible causes:
You are not at the summit coordinates
Weak GPS signal
You haven’t opened the Summit Verification screen
You are offline (Finish requires internet)
This happens if you didn’t open the Navigation screen while online before your hike.
To fix:
Return to an area with internet
Open the Navigation screen to download the map
After caching, the map is available offline.
