The Outer Aylesbury Ring (OAR) is an 85 km / 53 mile walking route..
.. along the higher ground around the outside of the original Aylesbury Ring, to produce a walk with good views through pleasant countryside, taking you through many of our delightful towns and villages.
It can also be walked in stages by using some of the associated 23 circular walks, which are described in the 14 OAR Section Guides
So there are several options for exploring this fine corner of Buckinghamshire.
The Best Views in the Vale of Aylesbury leaflet describes the overall scope of the Outer Aylesbury Ring and provides important information before undertaking any of the walks. From 2016 the OAR is marked on all the relevant OS maps.
