1. Cut a flap out of the lid of the pizza box
2. Decorate and personalize the boxes with markers
3. Place or glue a piece of black construction paper in the bottom of the box (to absorb heat)
4. Tape a piece of aluminum foil on the side of the flap facing downwards (the shiny aluminum will reflect the sunlight into the oven)
5. Tape a piece of plastic wrap across the lid of the box covering the cutout hole (to trap the heat inside)
6. Place graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow inside
7. Prop the flap open with a wooden skewer
8. Place outside facing the sun
9. While the s'mores cook, discuss the parts of the solar oven as well as why it is renewable energy
10. When the chocolate is melted and the marshmallow is warm and a little puffy, take them out of the oven and enjoy (Ours took about two hours to cook)
