trays (for each student or group)
Instructions
Preparation: Mix one bucket of soil and one bucket of sand with enough water to make them damp. Mix a third bucket with soil water and grass.
Fill a Dixie cup with wet sand and form a little sand castle on the tray
Repeat with soil and with the soil and grass (forming two more cakes)
You can now let the cakes dry or continue with them damp
Fill a Dixie cup with water and gently pour over each of the cakes
