How personal styling works
How personal styling works
I offer individual services as well as 2 all-inclusive packages. We can figure out which services make the most sense for you during our 30 minute initial consultation, which is always FREE! Note: I am currently testing out my pricing structure, so these numbers might change a bit as I figure out what works best.
Breakdown of services:
Pinterest Board - I will make you a custom Pinterest board based on your style vision that will help guide our closet cleanse and shopping trip.
Closet Cleanse - We'll get rid of clothes that no longer work for you to make space for clothes that make you feel fabulous! I will sustainably get rid of your old clothes for you.
Shopping trip - I will pick out stores based on your style goals, budget, and shopping needs and teach you how to shop! I'll push you out of your comfort zone to try new looks and show you how to style them in different ways.
Style Board - I'll show you how to make different outfits with the clothes you already have as well as any new clothes from our shopping trip. Even after we're done working together, you will be able to wake up every morning, open up your style board and pick from a whole collection of outfits styled specifically for you!

What is sliding scale pricing?
I understand that styling services can be hard to afford (especially in this economy!). I also understand that the services I am providing are important, and I care deeply about making them as accessible as possible. Sliding scale is a model that asks people to pay what they are able to afford. It works on an honor system, and I trust you to evaluate your financial situation honestly. The highest end of the sliding scale for each package reflects the true cost of my services. The middle and lowest ends of the payment scale are a reduced price for people who need financial assistance. Since spots on the lower end of the sliding scale will be limited, please pay what you can truly afford, since paying lower on the scale when you can actually afford higher will prevent people in need from accessing important resources.
If you are not sure where you fall on the sliding scale, here is a guide:
Why are your services so expensive?
My prices are not only accounting for the time that we spend together, but also all the hard work that I put in behind the scenes for each client. This includes things like doing individualized research for you, putting together Pinterest boards, creating style boards with pictures of your real clothes, and making worksheets you can take home. All of these things require a ton of time and effort, and will help you for years beyond the scope of our in person sessions. As a disabled person, my time and energy are something I value very highly, so charging these prices allows me to put my full effort into each client and run my business in a way that’s sustainable for me.
Additionally, personal styling is an investment. The upfront cost is expensive, but I promise it will pay itself off in the long run. A lot of people are trapped in a cycle of not knowing what they like - so they buy clothes they don’t like, get rid of them, and keep buying more clothes. This is an expensive way to shop! With my help, you will learn how to shop, curate a wardrobe full of clothes that work great for you and your lifestyle, and style outfits that you feel amazing in! This not only means keeping your clothes for a much longer time, but feeling euphoric and connected to your real self every time you get dressed and walk around the world, which is honestly hard to put a price on.
