Frigatebirds

A graceful bird whose apprearance though indeed quite magnificent, is rather misleading in that they essentially bully their way to a meal from any of the smaller seabirds they encounter that have caught something nice to eat..

The example shown in the header was taken on the Caribbean side of the country in Tortuguero. The main images (male, female and juvenile respectively, were taken on the Pacific side of the country at Manuel Antonio.
