(Euphonia imitans)
Taken at the 'Park of Spheres' in Palamar Sur De Osa.
Big, bright sky, small-bird. Very pretty little bird though and very busy up in the foliage. All just record shots.
The first is a male, the others are two of the same female.
(Euphonia luteicapilla)
Taken near Esquinas Lodge
(Euphonia hirundinacea)
Smart littel bird seen one of the bird-tables at La Fortuna
The second image was taken in the rain at one of the bird tables in Monteverde, this was the only shot of this individual where it didn't have its back to the camera.
In the original shot, the tail was just clipped by the right side of the frame, so this image has been composited in Photoshop Elements 15 to add a section of the birdtable to the right for composition. Nothing has been added to the bird.
(Setophaga ruticilla)
This male was spotted from the observation tower hopping about amongst the leaves on the ground in the Arenal NP.
(Myioborus torquatus)
Taken during our walk through the Monteverde cloud forest on the 15th Jan in very murky conditions. So unfortunately not the best images one could hope for, these are really only record shots.
Just to aid with ID, they have both been cropped quite hard and worked over a fair bit in Lightroom (levels, noise etc.) and Photoshop (added the eye-highlight in the first picture).
