Brief Discussion, Having Components about the Thornton Name, Thornton Heath, Anglicisation, and Judgment of Groups or Individuals
November 22, 2023
Before it gets away, as time is running out, and upon too much longer, some of those involved in what this discussion covers, may not even be here to hear this angle about it.
Back in about the early 1980s, I used to ask my father the following 2 questions which seemed to be entirely separate matters:
1- Why do you say prayers for the Holy See?
2- Why have you ceased to use the Thornton name in mundane vagaries?
I remember the answers being toward the top of the knowledge heap. I also remember other learned individuals on the outskirts of societal constructs I was functioning in as a grade school aged fella, that basically sketched that, it really is not like that, when you have a strong understanding of how it all works and the history behind these subject matters. Trying to put it all together, may take some time. Maybe this talk will help others save some time, perhaps decades of time, spent in brain wrenching doldrums trying to figure out why so many conflicts of interests occur at the same time, while everything is still correct?
For brevity, there are those that feel that the modern day spelling and pronunciation of Thornton underwent Anglicisation or older spellings may have it with a z, Anglicization, from to Anglicize something. Computer spell check may not even have it right yet (Anglici..), they may both be right. We know at this current time, English uses 26 letters. The Icelandic letters, Arabic letters of about the common 30 alphabet, are rarely seen blended in, let alone Irish, Norwegian, and Farsi and others. Plus, since early findings of anything to do with Thornton until now, the human tongue may have adjusted in aspects from what was then until now, a reference to an average life expectancy of 400 years old, and 10 feet tall, to 90 years old and 5'9.
The blanks will be filled in later. Let us look at the history of Thornton Heath.
There is a saying, it is hard to go from 1st gear to 5th gear in an instant. Or drive starting at 1 mph and to 100 mph in a second later, unless you're riding in the Blue Flame.
Each soul is judged, If you are an exception, a Believer in the Lord guided to the right path, an exception to for example misguided masses, why can't each individual that was born and lived and maybe passed on, be a Believer, whether 1AD, 100 AD, 500AD, 1500AD, or 1935?, and regardless if everyone else was slightly or severely misguided, or conquered by a religious group that was in disagreement with another considered 'Believers'?
Conjecturably, there may have been exceptional, high degree, Believers, regardless of the era or location they lived in.
Circling back to the beginning of the conversation, in the 2 questions asks back in the 80s, which many people in the USA had, there may be follow up questions. For instance, is it Holy See or Holy Sea, and how did it get its name?
See from Seat.
The 'first Pope' Peter, Petra, briefly translated as rock, perhaps having to do with solidity, considered a reliable source that understood what Isa/Jesus was talking about and his messages.
From today, 2023, back to the signing of the Declaration of Independence, 1776, is almost two and a half centuries; a lot has changed, from the way people dress, to how they socialize.
The Thornton name, in the framework of Thornton Heath, in the trace back of the history, eventually the Holy See comes up.
A pond there called Thornton Heathe.
Heathe, Heath, and heath, discerned.
Thornton Heath, at the foot of Norwood Hill, it is commonly said, back in the history was Benchesham, and among others See of Canterbury. See of Rome, about late 500s, from 1AD, to then, twice the span from 1776 to 2023.
One of a number of angles, that may shed led light on the subject matter of understanding where we are today, and how to handle large commonly misunderstood information by breaking them down into smaller pieces, development to development, 1st gear, then second gear, and so forth. Just prayers, such as in I pray for, when it is not exactly clear, or what, which prayers, may become clearer.
