About Outside Lands

Outside Lands is a large music, food, and art festival held in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. The music is predominantly Pop, Hip Hop, and EDM in nature. The event is expected to draw between 60,000 and 70,000 attendees and staff per day. Attendees are expected to be mostly young adults. This is an all ages event.

We expect operations to end at approximately 2300 hrs (2200 on Sunday). Rock Medicine is operational up to 1 hour post-music ending.

Be Prepared!

Outside Lands is a major event, and we want you to be prepared to be on-site - and to get on-site with minimal challenges or delays. Please make sure to read the "Pre-Event" and "Event Day" sections of this site.

Expect an email with the event briefing documents, maps, etc. to be sent to you the week before the event. We highly suggest familiarizing yourself with these plans and maps before coming on-site. If you do not receive that email or have any questions, please use the CONTACT page!
