Concussion Information
Dear Oshkosh Flyers Parent:
Recently the state of Wisconsin adopted the following concussion law:
Wis. State Statute: At the beginning of a season for a youth athletic activity, the person operating the youth athletic activity shall distribute a concussion and head injury information sheet to each person who will be coaching that youth athletic activity and to each person who wishes to participate in that youth athletic activity. No person may participate in a youth athletic activity unless the person returns the information sheet signed by the person and, if he or she is under the age of 19, by his or her parent or guardian.
If you know your child will be participating in the Oshkosh Flyers Football program, no person may participate in a youth athletic activity unless the person returns the attached information sheet signed by the person and, if he or she is under the age of 19, by his or her parent or guardian. Additional concussion informational sheets are being provided as well - see above links.
These documents must be signed by the parent/guardian and the participant prior to the first practice.

Baseline Concussion Test
We have partnered with Aurora Sports Health again this year to provide Baseline Concussion Testing for all Oshkosh Flyers Players. The Aurora Sports Health Team will provide cognitive testing to your players and keep that information on file. This is useful in the event of an injury to determine if a Concussion has occurred. This is optional and not required to play.
What: Baseline Concussion Testing
Where: Aurora Sports Health AMCO, 855 N. Westhaven Dr., Oshkosh
When: Schedule an Appointment during the following times. Call 920-456-7100, testing will be done during normal business hours.
Cost: $15 payable at time of appointment. Can use HSA or Flex spending account. ***NO CASH OR CHECK***
