when the eyes lick images幻の目、結晶化した痛みへの圧縮 / a compression for "ur phantom eye, our crystallized pain" (2020-)“when the eyes lick images” is an ongoing solo dance performance, which presents the accumulation of Shikichi’s choreographic practices in recent years. It casts doubt on our ideas of human bodies, remixing and hacking our systems of gaze to recognise others. By playing with wet images of erotixs or images of pain like a crystallised and crucified body or a treatment of phantom pains, the performance possesses plural body accounts toward being unisex, transforming to a royalty-free body. A tongue as their third hand becomes a screen and licks the images, and then its praying hands speak to a new eye of politics towards our human body.Duration : ± 45min
