Villa Eighta
Unlike the vilayets of power shady or not, Villa Eighta is a place for and of the community. A community of the bearers of the democratic impulse, as we call them. The name came from one of our activists in a self-help group we have hosted since October 2023.
Why a "Political Learning Zone"? That was the name of the first physical space in which we held the first edition of the course on social and political thought and the first matrix for live social dreaming - the meadow in front of the tent that "Food, not war" had provided for us on Eagles Bridge during the anti-government protests in 2021.
We rented the villa in the summer of 2024. In a short time, we held a number of events that started a community knowledge center. Only until the end of January 2025. Villa Eita hosted meetings to create a national collective of solidarity energy organizations, a 24-session course for advanced facilitators on group dynamics, a masterclass on civic power and the sociological imagination, a Care Coalition meeting, a public lecture by Dr. Kimon Ganev on the work of British psychoanalyst and founder of the group relations paradigm Wilfred Bion, and numerous internal and peer meetings.
In 2025, we have prepared an intensive program to ensure that our mission and vision of the organization and our ongoing projects work through a series of paid courses, charity and community events.
