Notes: Fantastic and powerful performances from the whole cast. This is as nicely captured as can be expected from this show. There are several set pieces that obstruct the view of the action in certain places. There are about fourteen minutes of blackouts: most of the first seven minutes of act one, one and a half minutes of The Private and Intimate Life of the House, one minute of The Ball, three minutes of Balaga, one minute of The Abduction, and a couple other quick dropouts. It's filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Notes: This is not a great DVD by any means; I was sitting there, producers were behind me, as well as Matthew Scott and Jacqui Polk in front of me, ushers on either sight lines behind me. I held the camera to my chest for the entire show and caught whatever I could. It is blind shot, so there is absolutely no zooms. First video of the original Off-Broadway run.

Notes: Filmed in 16:9 widescreen. Act One has a few minor obstructions from a head on the lower edge of the screen, but they are brief and was shot around as best as possible. Moved for Act Two and had zero obstructions. About 30 seconds to a minute or so of blackouts at the start of each act, otherwise complete. Mix of medium and close zooms, depending on the action in the scene. A few instances in the audio where there is cell phone interference, but it should not be terribly distracting. A fantastic performance from all, but especially Jessica. She has an absolutely incredible voice, along with very heartfelt and sincere acting. She has completely made the role her own

Notes: A Magnificent and beautiful capture of the new tour cast from the first stop in LA. The cast is very solid and made it their own from any other cast. A very highly, highly enjoyable cast with a few performances that rival the original. A+

Notes: stillreprise's master. The usual wandering, shakiness, grain, etc, with the only dropouts being during the applauses to stretch my hand. The center of the stage is obstructed by a head so I needed to shoot around it and any action directly in the center of the stage is unfortunately not captured. There is also mild obstruction from other surrounding heads but the center one is the most bothersome. It doesn't cut off anything too important, though. My camera struggled to focus at points but it isn't distracting or anything.

Notes: Video picks up part way through the opening number but there's A LOT of wandering for the first five or so minutes. Second act starts at the beginning of the dream ballet and ends at curtain call. The lighting in this show is kinda weird and my camera had some trouble focusing, especially in the super dark/light scenes. There’s one usher dropout during Kansas City that lasts for about a minute. There’s also about 10 minutes split between 2 scenes where the entire stage is completely dark (don’t worry you aren’t missing anything)
