RELAY FOR LIFE

The Relay for Life is a walk-a-thon style event where community members and students walk or run laps for pledges or flat donations, all of which are donated to the American Cancer Society via the Ventura County Relay for Life chapter. Last year, we had games and competitions, food, glow sticks and tutus for sale, music, and beaded bracelets to help participants track the number of laps they ran. This year we have a few more additions including luminaries, some guest speakers (and hopefully performances), and more games and challenges for students. Last year, we raised just over $5,000 which led us to create our goal of $6,000 for the 2023 Relay for Life.

• Extra Help Volunteers (for whatever needs extra hands!)

• Walking/Running laps 

We will do 1-hour shifts for each of the 4 stations, an official sign-up sheet will be sent out in the email!
