This is our favorite picture from our wedding. We both were so happy and excited to get married and share our whole life together. We still are.
Our first Valentine's as a married couple. We stood on the Berkeley hills and watched the sunset behind the Golden Gate Bridge.
Smokey Mountains National Park. We were hunting for bears but didn't see any that time.
This was right before we transferred our embryo during IVF. They even gave us the petri dish that our baby was in- said it was his first crib.

Our Family
I'm so proud of my mom- in this photo she's receiving her Masters. All us Murata girls are educated. Meg, my sister, is about to finish Vet school. I love that my family is so supportive of female ambition.
My siblings- we have all kinds of personalities in this group but they are all kind and loving.
I know this is an old photo but I still love it because it has my whole family in it. Even though my parents got divorced, they both have been influential in my life and they came together on this day to support us and welcome Mel officially into our family.
Family is not just blood- they are the people you choose to share your life with. This photo was taken at our annual friendsgiving. These people have been in our lives for almost a decade and they are family to us.
