When the BLM released its Resource Management Plan for the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area in 2019 it did not go over well with environmental advocacy groups. The Center for Biological Diversity, Western Watersheds Project and the Sierra Club Grand Canyon Chapter took them to court over their decision to reauthorize grazing on four allotments within the preserve.
