By age: covid vs. vaccines

Data from PHAC-1 and PHAC-2 (Total counts since the start of Pandemic and vaccination as of January 2022 )

Note the following:

  • The number of Severe Adverse Reactions among children (bottom table) – 52,
reported for age 5 to 11 only, and
counted for four months only (from November 2021, when vaccines have been approved for this age group)
    vs.

  • The number of “Covid cases deceased” (top graph) – 29 ,
    reported
for ages 0 to 19 - 4 times larger age group),
counted for over 20 months (since the start of pandemic January 2020) - five times larger time interval

These are data tracked over time (weekly counts from July 2021 to June 2022). Note logarithmic scale is used.

Note the following:

  • Different the Age groups are used in these two PHAC reports.

  • Deaths are reported for 0-19 (red) and Under 40 (blue), and they are reported with one week delay only. There are very few red bars

  • SARs are reported for 5to11 (red) and 12to17 (blue), and they are reported with average three months delay. There are quite many red bars and blue bars

By dividing numbers reported in PHAC-2 (bottom graph) by numbers reported in PHAC-1 (top graph) you will (approximately) arrive to the numbers shown in the gauges. In fact, the real numbers will be higher for Under 18, because deaths are reported for larger group (upto to 19, not to 17).
