This module discusses three kinds of assessment: diagnostic, formative, and summative assessment, providing digital options for conducting these types of assessment in an online or hybrid course. Throughout this module, you will be asked to conceptualize different kinds of assessments that align with the learning objectives you outlined for module 1 of your course.
Incorporate assessments that measure the achievement of the stated learning objectives or competencies.
Articulate specific and descriptive criteria for the evaluation of learners’ work, clearly connected to the course grading policy.
Incorporate assessments that are sequenced, varied, and suited to the level of the course.
Provide learners with multiple opportunities to track their learning progress with timely feedback.
