Bike Transfer

Dates & Times will be confirmed in due course, but presume there will be a time slot on the Saturday or Sunday before you fly.
Do not leave any bags, computers or accessories on your bike.
Please take care when providing your bike information. Adventure Cafe need this to apply for the ATA Carnet customs documentation. This allows us to transport your bicycles in and out of the EU. If you change which bike you will be taking, let Adventure Cafe know ASAP.
It is your responsibility to ensure your bike is sufficiently protected for the journey in the van. If you are concerned about your bike, we would recommend using pipe lagging/bubble wrap to protect the frame. While Adventure Cafe take exceptional care in transporting participant bicycles, Adventure Cafe do not accept responsibility for damaged bikes.
Travelling With Your Bike
IMPORTANT: If you are transporting your bike to One More City 2026 yourself (via plane/train) there may be an additional charge for a separate luggage transfer. This is due to limited space in our support van during the trip.
If we have more than 4 riders attending with bike bags/boxes to transport from Nice to Montpellier, we will arrange a courier to transport all bicycle cases from the Start hotel to the Finish hotel. There will be an additional charge, with payment to our tour operator Adventure Cafe for this service. We estimate this could be around £100 per box/bag.

We suggest you look for travel options to Nice.
We suggest you consider return travel from Montpellier, Neimes, Marseille, Toulouse or Nice.
Suggested return flights to London airports:
Montpellier: Currently 1 x Easyjet flight per day, 9am or 11am, daily to Gatwick

Montpellier: BA fly May to September only, and don’t fly to UK from Montpellier in October.. At the time of research, BA flights were not currently showing as available.

Marseille: More flight options from Marseille (1.5-2.5 hours from Montpellier by road or train)

Train travel to Nice/return from Montpellier:
TGV to Paris, Eurostar to London approx 7 hours. Check luggage restrictions especially with Eurostar.
