Before you call a land surveyor in Ogun state to ask the question of how much is Land survey and documentation, I think the right question should be how much you value and want to secure your land.
For example, would you buy a car and leave its door open and the key on its seat in the middle of Abeokuta or Shagamu Ogun state, walk away from your car and expect it to be there when you come back two weeks later, I expect a strong No.
But in the case of land you have to do just that (you have to walk away from your land), you can't carry your land or put it in your pocket.
But there is a solution, in the case of your car, if it has a plate number it can be easily tracked and traced because the police can associate your ownership of the car to the title of the plate number.
So the same is a survey plan, it is a way to protect your land and document your precious asset (Real estate) in your name, and this can only be achieved through the proper surveying of your property and documentation of the survey plan. Land size (land per square meter)
The zone that your land falls into
To determine the actual size of your land, a surveyor will help you determine that after measurement of the land and office computation to prevent yourself from seller claim which might be exaggerated to sell you the land and note the larger the land the more the cost of a survey and government documentation.
so it is only wise that you contact a land surveyor to avoid being cheated of your land in Ogun state

Now we proceed to the most important section for anyone paying for a land survey in Ogun state not to be cheated.
Here we will talk about the charges involved in conducting a survey on-site and in-office work of processing the data acquired on-site and the main area which is the processing and documentation of your job in the ministry, here your survey will be processed showing you as the owner of the property while requested beacon numbers will be attached to your name to show original ownership.
the mandatory payment which is the money to be the ministry of that state, this money is not negotiable. Any surveyor who negotiates this money with you is about to scam you, because this money is compulsorily supposed to pay it to the ministry to approve your survey work.
Most times the problem sets in when Nigerians look for cheap alternatives, in the process some surveyors do not want to lose money. they agree to accept less pay and go-ahead to do the site work and make available a plan that has not been registered because the amount being paid to them cant cover the mandatory fee, in essence, the plan provided is just a sheet of paper with drawings on it and it has not been registered.
Please be careful and do not involve any surveyor promising to work with a fee less than the mandatory fee.
2. This is the site and office survey work, you can negotiate with your Surveyor.
Surveyors do charge between 60 thousand per plot in a general to 100 thousand or more for a special prime area per plot for their professionalism depending on the difficulty of the survey and instrumentation of the particular area and can be negotiated for less. The more the plots the less is being charged per plot.
The Mandatory Fee (Government Fee) price of the survey is listed below:
Please be careful and do not involve any surveyor promising to work with a fee less than the mandatory fee.
