During his adolescence, life became more complicated. Leo used to get angry over small arguments with his friends. When he didn't make the basketball team, he felt disappointed and lonely. One day, he accidentally broke his friend's bike and felt embarrassed, but he was relieved when his friend forgave him.

My grandmother, Elena, was born in a small coastal town in 1950. During her childhood, life was simple. When she was a toddler, her family used to live in a tiny wooden house near the beach. As she was growing up, she made friends easily and spent most of her adolescence playing on the shore.
In her youth, Elena moved to the capital to get a degree in architecture. After she graduated, she got her first job and decided to rent a flat with a classmate. Shortly after, she met my grandfather, Marco. They fell in love, got engaged, and two years later, they got married.
When she reached adulthood, they decided to buy a house in the countryside and start a family. Elena gave birth to three children. Sadly, when my mother was a teenager, my grandma's best friend moved abroad to find work, and they lost touch for years.
Now, Elena is an elderly person. She retired five years ago and she now spends her old age gardening and painting. Although some relatives have passed away, she always says that every stage of life, from being a baby to getting old, has its own beauty.
