Hi Alex!
How are you? I’m writing to tell you about my weekends. They’re usually quite busy, but I always find some time for my hobbies.
On Saturday mornings, I usually help my parents with the household chores. My brother Leo takes out the rubbish and vacuums the carpet, while I make the beds and water the plants. I don’t mind helping, but I really hate ironing clothes!
In the afternoons, I often hang out with my friends. We sometimes ride our bikes or play board games at my house. My best friend Mia loves painting, but I’m more interested in taking photographs. I also enjoy playing video games, although my parents don’t let me play for hours.
Today is a little different. It’s raining outside, so we aren’t riding our bikes. Right now, Leo is doing the laundry, Mum is cooking lunch, and Dad is tidying up the living room. I’m sitting on the sofa and writing this email. Mia is here too, and she’s drawing a picture of our cat. We’re listening to music and having a great time!
What about you? What do you usually do at weekends? Are you doing anything interesting right now?
Write back soon!
