My name is Alex and I live in a medium-sized city in the north of Spain. I like living here because there are many interesting places to visit, and most of them are quite close to my house.
In the centre of the city, there is a large square with a beautiful fountain. There are also several cafés and small shops around the square. My favourite place is the city library because it is quieter than the cafés and I can read or do my homework there. Next to the library, there is a park with a playground, some trees and a small lake.
My school is about fifteen minutes from my house. I usually walk there, but when it rains, I take the bus. There is a bus stop just around the corner from my house. The bus is faster than walking, but I prefer walking because I can meet my friends on the way.
At weekends, I usually go into the city centre with my friends. We sometimes go shopping, have lunch in a restaurant or watch a film at the cinema. There is always something to do, so I never get bored!
