Symphonic Winds

ABOUT THE SYMPHONIC WINDS...

The Omaha Central High School Symphonic Winds serve as the core of the band program and is made up of instrumentalists from grades 9-12. The group performs on a regular basis through the school year, with one concert in the fall semester and two concerts in the spring semester. The standard repertoire of this group varies widely, from light concert music to the latest in wind ensemble composition.

As a member of the Symphonic Winds there are other performance opportunities for the student. Solo and small ensembles are available through this group as interest allows.
