Dr. Ollie L. Jefferson is well known for her work as a practitioner and preacher. She coined "preacHER" to identify Christ-centered women that model cultural sensitivity and consciousness. These women are illustrated in the Bible as Miriam spoke through praise and worship music (Exodus 15:20), Deborah spoke to leadership (Judges 4:4-9), Huldah spoke to multitudes of people (2 Kings 22:14-20), and other women may speak volumes by their actions (Acts 21:9).

Dr. Jefferson was called and chosen to teach and preach the gospel at the tender age of 6 years old by her grandmother, Pastor Eddie B. Lanehart of Pentecostal Prayer Tower Church of Deliverance. Pastor Lanehart stood before the silent congregation as she called for leaders to teach the children. Dr. Jefferson was the youngest member who sat quietly on the front row before raising her little hand to accept the call to ministry. She faithfully studied, planned, and taught weekly biblical lessons with passion to peers from elementary thru high school. She continues to form children's programs such as Jesus "Little Blessings" Ministry, Training Wills Christian Child Care Academy, and Timeless Theater Academy. These ministries are a part of her testimony in The Time Will Tell Trilogy.

Dr. Jefferson ministry leadership was born from a legacy of women teacHERs, preacHERs, and philosopHERs.

EVANGELISM

Dr. Ollie L. Jefferson ministers and volunteer services to the community involve feeding the hungry, which include preparing and distributing nutritious meals to those without food or homeless. She has counseled and prepared living arrangements for those residing in homeless shelters and requiring emergency assistance. Individuals are also visited and assisted on the streets, door-to-door, incarcerated, in hospitals, and residing in nursing homes. Dr. Jefferson is doing the work of an evangelist in communities while teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

TEACHER

Dr. Ollie L. Jefferson is an inspiring teacher invited to speak at events such as the Daughters of the King Conferences. She has taught biblical and theological studies at faith-based organizations, which includes the King's Christian Academy, Riverdale Baptist School, Metropolitan Baptist Church, Friendship Church Outreach Ministry, and First Baptist Church of Glenarden.

LEADERSHIP

Dr. Ollie L. Jefferson served as a contributing writer and ministry leader for Vision, Vision Kids, Grace, and Gracia magazines. She was appointed as an Editorial Board Member and Vice President of Processing for Vision and Vision Kids magazines, which are published as a resource to share testimonies and spotlight outstanding service in the community. Her leadership initiatives as Chaplain of Grace and Gracia magazines included designing the website to support the ministry's mission to empower women spiritually.
