Spanish, Art, Music, PE, and Digital Citizenship classes will be scheduled during the school day so students will still experience all these activities. Our teachers and aides are amazingly creative and are always working to come up with new ideas and ways to keep students engaged.
All students, grade K-8, will have OLG gmail accounts that can be used to access Google Classroom. Information and instructional videos will be available for both students and parents to become acquainted with this tool.
If you have concerns about not being able to make full-day zoom meetings, needing some assignments paper and pencil, or anything else, please contact your homeroom teacher. We will work with you to meet your specific needs.
Students will be assessed and graded just like they would be in the classroom. Students in grades K-5 will receive standards-referenced grades while students in grades 6-8 will receive traditional A-F grades.
Instructional aides will be working with classroom teachers to provide small group instruction in breakout rooms, instructional support, and one-on-one help.
