Stir from the grain

With this piece I was looking for the texture gain as we age, but also the wisdom we  also gain that can be seen in the eyes. Is this stir judging us? or letting us know that deep inside there is knowledge of life, not from a book or classroom but knowledge gained from a full life lived through struggle and hardship. and joy and laugher.

This is the second piece of eight that I am currently working on, about Textures in the face as we grow older and the wisdom we gain.
