The Gaze of the Grain
This is the first piece in a body of eight that I have planned, this series explores the physical topograhy of the human face as a living archive. Through the meticulous application of pyrography, each piece documents the "Witness marks" left by time- etched lines and weathered textures that serve as a silent script of life lived.
This piece shows the gaze of wisdom, and leaves you asking "What as this eye seen over the years of its life"
This piece was selected for display at Blackburn Museum and art gallery Open 2026 from March to 16th May2026.
Price if sold separately £995.00
Hanging proudly at Blackburn Museum and art gallery, This marked my first ever piece on display anywhere. It was marked as NFS becasue it is the first piece in a body of eight i have planned on doing.
Proudly on display with other
great works
A small piece but I can still be
seen from across a room.
