I am based in Oldham, near Greater Manchester, and am a proud husband and father of two girls. My journey has been anything but traditional . After leaving school, I joined the army as a junior soldier in 1987, serving until 1998 in the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Following my time in the forces, I worked as a satellite engineer before transitioning into my current career as an HGV driver.
My entry into the art world happened purely by accident- literally. While recovering at home from a workplace injury, I took up pyrography to pass the time and manage the mental pressure of a long recovery.
From that moment I started, I was hooked. Today, I continue to create whenever I can. While I still work full time as a heavy Goods driver, my ultimate goal is to one day focus entirely on my art and share my passion for pyrography with others.
