POMP’s mission is to increase online student success, center online equity and accessibility in the development, design, and delivery of high quality online and hybrid courses, and build dialogue and community around online education across the disciplines through mentorship.
In developing a cross-disciplinary professional development program that supports digital equity and literacy, our goal was to create a program that will continually evolve and grow to meet our faculty and students’ needs. As a Distance Education team, we developed a Peer Online Mentorship Program (POMP) that supports faculty in aligning and badging courses with the CVC rubric.
