Program Development

We are now in our fourth year of offering this program and have developed a number of practices that allow us to be flexible, dynamic, and data-driven. The key tenets of success in POMP pull from the CVC rubric: 

• Authentic assessment throughout our courses

• Engaging and vibrant student interactions

• Using principles of Universal Design for Learning in how we design and present course content

• Accessibility for all

Through cohorts, we created an interdisciplinary community of practice around online education through one-to-one mentorship, direct accessibility support, and facilitator coaching that continues in post-programming professional development.
